PPL / REC GROUNDSCHOOL - SPRING 2026

Spring 2026 Private and Rec Pilot Ground  School classes commence May 5, 2026!

Register with us by April 25  for your spot in the upcoming Spring Ground School. 

The Ground School will run for 8 weeks beginning May 5, 2026, from 7PM to 10PM, Tuesday and Thursday evenings in our classroom. That's 45 hours, which is 5 hours over the Transport Canada minimum for the Private Pilot written exam.  As for you recreational students, this is a great opportunity to prepare for the Recreational Pilot Permit written exam. 

BOOKINGS MUST BE CONFIRMED BY EMAIL with SPRING 2026 GROUND SCHOOL REGISTRATION in the subject.  Please include your phone number in the email.

In order to properly study and prepare for your exams you will require a few items, which we can provide for you on request. Some of you may already have the necessary items. For those who don't, here is the minimum of what you'll need.

Plotter/Protractor

E6b analogue Flight Computer (or CX3 Electronic Flight Computer. Please specify.)

Distance Ruler

"From the Ground Up", Ground school textbook
