Ground Briefings With Instructor
Ground briefings are an integral part of flight training, and are required for each flight you take. Typical briefing times are often metered in increments per flight (for example, taking a new lesson may require anywhere between 10 and 30 minutes of ground briefing, depending on the lesson to be flown. Briefings actually reduce the overall time to gain your permit or license!
$105 / Hour
*all rates subject to 15% HST
NOTE!!! As of July 1, 2022, due to rising fuel costs, we will be instituting a FUEL SURCHARGE of $12 plus HST per Flight Hour. This surcharge will modify as fuel rates change.
It is difficult to provide a fixed dollar value to pilot training because each student pilot has unique abilities, schedules, and time commitments. The following estimates can give a good sense of the overall costs of flight training for each of the three levels of pilots: Recreational, Private, and Commercial - Sea Eagle Aviation is happy to sit with you one-on-one to help you get a good sense of where you may fit in the training scheme.
The following are based on the Transport Canada mandated minimum hour requirements, plus at least 20%, as most student pilots do not complete their ratings or licenses at minimums.
